The University Athletic Association of the Philippines football championships are usually held during the second semester of the school year (December–April).

**Filipijnen - UAAP**

Het Filipijnen - UAAP is een voetbaltoernooi voor universiteiten in de Filipijnen. Het toernooi wordt georganiseerd door de University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Het toernooi werd voor het eerst gehouden in 1938 en is sindsdien uitgegroeid tot een van de meest prestigieuze sporttoernooien in het land.

Het toernooi wordt gespeeld door acht universiteiten:

* Ateneo de Manila University
* De La Salle University
* Far Eastern University
* National University
* University of Santo Tomas
* University of the East
* University of the Philippines
* Adamson University

De universiteiten worden verdeeld in twee divisies, Division I en Division II. De top vier teams uit Division I plaatsen zich voor de kampioenschappen. De winnaar van de kampioenschappen wint de UAAP-titel.

Het Filipijnen - UAAP is een van de meest populaire sporttoernooien in de Filipijnen. De wedstrijden worden bijgewoond door duizenden fans en de wedstrijden worden live uitgezonden op televisie. Het toernooi is een belangrijke bron van talent voor de Filipijnse nationale voetbalploeg.
