Nigeria U20

The Nigerian men's national under-20 football team represents Nigeria in men's international football also known as the Nigeria Under-20s or nicknamed the Flying Eagles. The Flying Eagles is the youth team for the national soccer in Nigeria. It plays a large role in the development of Nigerian football, and it’s considered to be the feeder team for the senior team. It is controlled by the Nigerian Football Federation. The team has won a record of seven African U-20 Cup of Nations titles and are also two-times runners-up of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Nigeria U20, ook wel bekend als de Flying Eagles, is het nationale voetbalteam van Nigeria onder de 20 jaar. Het team vertegenwoordigt Nigeria in internationale voetbalwedstrijden voor spelers onder de 20 jaar, zoals het FIFA WK onder 20 en het CAF Afrikaanse U-20-kampioenschap.

Nigeria U20 is een van de meest succesvolle nationale jeugdteams in Afrika, met meerdere titels op het Afrikaanse U-20-kampioenschap. Het team heeft ook indrukwekkende prestaties neergezet op het WK onder 20, waarbij het meerdere kwartfinales en een runner-up plaats heeft behaald.

De Flying Eagles staan bekend om hun aanvallende speelstijl en hun vermogen om getalenteerde jonge spelers te produceren die doorstromen naar het Nigeriaanse seniorenteam, de Super Eagles. Het team wordt gecoacht door Ladan Bosso en heeft een aantal veelbelovende spelers in zijn selectie, zoals Ibrahim Said en Wisdom Ubani.
