Institute

Institute FC is een Noord-Ierse voetbalclub uit Drumahoe, nabij Derry.

De club werd in 1905 opgericht. Van 2003 tot 2006 speelde de club in de hoogste klasse en opnieuw van 2007 tot 2010.

Hun eigenlijke stadion is het Riverside Stadium in Drumahoe, maar dat is door meerdere overstromingen onbespeelbaar geworden. De club komt tijdelijk uit in het Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium van Derry City FC.

Institute FC is a Northern Irish football club based in the town of Drumahoe, County Londonderry. The club was founded in 1905 and currently plays in the NIFL Championship, the second tier of Northern Irish football.

Institute has won the Irish Cup once, in 1947, and has also been runners-up on four occasions. The club has also won the NIFL Championship title once, in 2019, and has been runners-up on two occasions.

Institute's home ground is the Brandywell Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,700. The club's traditional colours are red and white.

Institute is a community-based club with a strong tradition of developing young players. The club has a number of youth teams and also runs a number of community outreach programmes.
