NuPS

Nummela Palloseura (abbreviated NuPS) is a sports club from Nummela in Vihti, Finland. The club was formed in 1964 and since the outset football has been the dominant sport. NuPS runs around 30 teams with men's, women's and junior sections. In addition the club runs leagues and tournaments, outside activities for infants, developmental activities for disabled children and general fitness football for players of all ages.

In 2008 the club had around 625 registered players and in 2009 this increased to 700 players (750 players when peripheral football activities are included). In total NuPS's teams play around 700 games every year.

**NuPS** (Notsjö Ungdoms och Pensionärsförening) is een Finse voetbalclub uit Helsinki. De club werd in 1919 opgericht en speelt haar thuiswedstrijden in het Pohjola Stadion.

NuPS heeft een lange en succesvolle geschiedenis in het Finse voetbal. De club werd in 1926 en 1927 landskampioen, en won in 1927 ook de Finse beker. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog speelde NuPS op het hoogste niveau in Finland, maar zakte in de jaren 1980 naar de lagere divisies.

In recentere jaren is NuPS weer teruggekeerd naar het Finse voetbalelftal en speelt momenteel in de Ykkonen, het tweede niveau van Finland. De club staat bekend om zijn jeugdopleiding en heeft een aantal talentvolle jonge spelers voortgebracht, waaronder Teemu Pukki, die momenteel speelt voor Norwich City in de Premier League.
