Corpus Christi FC is a pre-professional American soccer club based in Corpus Christi, Texas, that competes in the Lone Star Division of the USL League Two. The club was founded in 2017. The team currently plays its home games at the Cabaniss Soccer Field. Team colors are blue and white.
The club also runs a youth academy program for both boys and girls that has programs ranging from U3s to U19s and has affiliate academies in Victoria, Texas and Allen, Texas.
History
Corpus Christi was awarded an expansion franchise by the Premier Development League in October 2017. The team began playing in the 2018 PDL season. In 2019, the Sharks finished runners-up of the Mid-South division, and were the second highest scoring club in the entire league. In 2020, the outfit announced their ambitions to go professional in USL League One as the city council approved a five-year incentive agreement worth $1.85 million as an investment consortium involving the team's owner and president Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo set out to build a $17.2 million sporting complex that would include a 5,000 seater ground.

**Geschiedenis**
Corpus Christi FC werd opgericht in 2018 door een groep investeerders onder leiding van eigenaar John Roth. Het team sloot zich aan bij de USL League One voor het seizoen 2019. In hun eerste seizoen eindigde Corpus Christi FC als 10e in de competitie.
**Stadion**
Corpus Christi FC speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in het H-E-B Park, een multifunctioneel stadion met een capaciteit van 8.000 toeschouwers. Het stadion werd geopend in 2020 en is tevens de thuishaven van het Corpus Christi Hooks honkbalteam.
**Rivaliteit**
Corpus Christi FC heeft een rivaliteit met Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, een ander team uit Texas dat in de USL League One speelt. De twee teams staan bekend om hun intense wedstrijden en gepassioneerde fans.
