Wikipedia - AFC Fylde

AFC Fylde is een Engelse semi-professionele voetbalclub uit Wesham in het district Fylde. De club werd opgericht in 1988 als Kirkham & Wesham Football Club en hield deze naam tot aan het einde van het seizoen 2007/08. Ze spelen momenteel in de National League, het vijfde niveau van het Engelse voetbal. Wedstrijden worden afgewerkt op Mill Farm, dat een capaciteit heeft van 6.000 toeschouwers. AFC Fylde is de eerste club die zowel de FA Vase als de FA Trophy wist te winnen.

AFC Fylde is een Engelse voetbalclub uit Wesham, Lancashire. De club werd opgericht in 1988 en speelt in de National League North, het zesde niveau van het Engelse voetbalsysteem. AFC Fylde speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in Mill Farm.

De clubkleuren zijn blauw en wit. Het logo van de club is een adelaar met een voetbal in zijn klauwen. De bijnaam van de club is "The Coasters".

AFC Fylde werd opgericht in 1988 als Wesham AFC. De club veranderde in 1999 zijn naam in AFC Fylde. In 2008 promoveerde AFC Fylde naar de Conference North, het vijfde niveau van het Engelse voetbalsysteem. In 2014 promoveerde AFC Fylde naar de National League, het vijfde niveau van het Engelse voetbalsysteem. In 2017 degradeerde AFC Fylde naar de National League North.

AFC Fylde heeft nog nooit een grote prijs gewonnen. De beste prestatie van de club was het bereiken van de halve finale van de FA Trophy in 2015.
