Cashmere Technical

Cashmere Technical is an association football club based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was formed in early 2012 from the merger of two of the city's premier teams, Cashmere Wanderers and Woolston Technical. The two clubs had agreed to work together in early 2011, and the 2011 Christchurch earthquake which devastated their home city and resulted in the loss of many playing facilities hastened their merger into a combined side.

Cashmere Technical play in the Mainland Premier League, and have won the Chatham Cup twice as Cashmere but also once as Christchurch Technical Old Boys.

Cashmere Technical is een voetbalclub uit Christchurch, Nieuw-Zeeland. De club werd opgericht in 1951 en speelt zijn wedstrijden op het Cashmere Park Sports Ground. Cashmere Technical komt uit in de Southern Premier League, de hoogste voetbaldivisie van Christchurch.

**Geschiedenis**

Cashmere Technical werd opgericht in 1951 als een fusie tussen twee lokale clubs, Cashmere Forest en Technical College. De club speelde in de lagere divisies tot 1977, toen ze promoveerden naar de Southern Premier League. Sindsdien is Cashmere Technical een vaste waarde in de hoogste divisie van Christchurch.
