Wikipedia - Adama City FC

Adama City Football Club is een Ethiopische voetbalclub uit de stad Adama. Ze komen uit in de Premier League, de nationale voetbalcompetitie van Ethiopië. De club is relatief jong, want ze werd in 1993 opgericht. De club speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in het Adama Stadium, een relatief klein stadion dat plaats beidt aan zo'n 10.000 toeschouwers.

Voetbalclub Adama Ketema is opgericht in 1955 en is gevestigd in Adama, Ethiopië. Het team speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in het Adamastadion.

Adama Ketema heeft in zijn geschiedenis meerdere nationale titels gewonnen, waaronder het Ethiopische kampioenschap in de seizoenen 1979/80, 1981/82 en 1986/87. Ook heeft het de Ethiopische beker gewonnen in de seizoenen 1979/80, 1985/86 en 1989/90.

Internationaal heeft Adama Ketema deelgenomen aan de CAF Champions League en de CAF Confederation Cup. Het team heeft echter nog geen noemenswaardige successen geboekt in continentale competities.

Adama Ketema staat bekend om zijn aanvallende speelstijl en een sterke fanbasis. De club heeft een aantal talentvolle spelers voortgebracht, waaronder Tesfaye Tefera, Markos Desta en Getaneh Kebede.
