Wikipedia - TS Sporting F.C.

TS Sporting F.C. is a South African football club. The club are from Zwelisha, near Mbombela, Mpumalanga, South Africa.

The club was created when Mbombela-based lawyers purchased a SAFA Regional League license from Barberton City Stars in 2016 following City Stars' relegation from the SAFA Second Division. In turn, the City Stars purchased a license from Justicia Celtic to stay in the SAFA Second Division. TS Sporting were promoted from the SAFA Regional League in 2017 after the second-placed team were sanctioned 33 points, and TS Sporting qualified were promoted via the playoffs. The club were promoted from the SAFA Second Division in 2018 having reached the Championship final, losing 5–4 on penalties to Maccabi F.C.

They were relegated from the 2021–22 National First Division after finishing 16th.

TS Sporting, ook bekend als Die Rooi Duiwels, is een professionele voetbalclub uit de stad Kaapstad, Zuid-Afrika. Opgericht in 1998, speelt het team momenteel in de Premier Soccer League, de hoogste voetbaldivisie van het land.

TS Sporting staat bekend om zijn aanvallende speelstijl en heeft verschillende opwindende spelers in zijn selectie. Enkele van hun belangrijkste spelers zijn de spits Dino Ndlovu, de middenvelder Teboho Mokoena en de verdediger Thamsanqa Mkhize.

Het thuisstadion van TS Sporting is het Athlone Stadium, met een capaciteit van ongeveer 30.000 toeschouwers. De club heeft een trouwe aanhang van fans, bekend als "The Red Army", die de ploeg luidruchtig ondersteunen bij thuis- en uitwedstrijden.

TS Sporting heeft nog geen grote trofeeën gewonnen, maar heeft in de loop der jaren wel enkele successen geboekt. In 2006 wonnen ze de Telkom Knockout en eindigden ze als tweede in de Premier Soccer League in het seizoen 2012/13.

Onder leiding van de huidige trainer, Gordon Igesund, hoopt TS Sporting een dominante kracht te worden in het Zuid-Afrikaanse voetbal en prijzen te winnen voor hun toegewijde fans.
