The La Liga Argentina de Básquet (abbreviated "LLA", and literally in English "The Argentine Basketball League"), previously known as the Torneo Nacional de Ascenso (abbreviated "TNA", and literally in English "National Promotion Tournament") is the second division of the Argentine basketball league system. The La Liga's predecessor is the Torneo Federal de Básquetbol, which became the third division when the LLA was created in 1992.

La Liga is de hoogste basketbalcompetitie in Argentinië. De competitie werd opgericht in 1985 en bestaat uit 20 teams. De teams spelen in een regelmatig seizoen en een play-off, waarbij de winnaar van de play-off de kampioen wordt.

De meest succesvolle club in de geschiedenis van La Liga is Atenas de Córdoba, met 9 kampioenschappen. Andere succesvolle clubs zijn Boca Juniors, San Lorenzo en Peñarol de Mar del Plata.

De Argentijnse basketbalcompetitie staat bekend om zijn hoge niveau en fysieke spel. De spelers zijn over het algemeen groot en atletisch, en het spel is snel en opwindend.

La Liga is een van de meest populaire sportcompetities in Argentinië, en de wedstrijden worden live uitgezonden op de televisie. De competitie trekt ook veel aandacht van internationale fans, en er zijn een aantal NBA-spelers die in de Argentijnse competitie hebben gespeeld.
