**Uruguay - Metro League**

De Uruguay Metro League is een professionele basketbalcompetitie in Uruguay. De competitie werd opgericht in 1922 en bestaat uit acht teams uit de hoofdstad Montevideo.

De competitie wordt gespeeld in een round-robin-formaat, waarbij elk team twee keer tegen elkaar speelt. De top vier teams plaatsen zich voor de play-offs, die worden gespeeld in een best-of-five-formaat.

De Uruguay Metro League is een van de meest prestigieuze basketbalcompetities in Zuid-Amerika. Het heeft verschillende internationale spelers aangetrokken, waaronder Leandro García Morales, Esteban Batista en Bruno Fitipaldo.

De huidige kampioen van de Uruguay Metro League is Aguada.
