Wikipedia - Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20

The Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 is the official Brazilian national football tournament for U-20 teams. The Rio Grande do Sul Football Association (FGF) created the competition in 2006 and since 2015 it is organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

**Brazilië - Serie A U20**

De Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20, ook wel bekend als de Série A Sub-20, is een voetbalcompetitie voor onder-20-teams in Brazilië. De competitie wordt georganiseerd door de Braziliaanse voetbalbond (CBF) en is het hoogste niveau van jeugdvoetbal in het land.

De Série A Sub-20 wordt gespeeld in een round-robin-formaat, waarbij elk team twee keer tegen alle andere teams speelt. De kampioen van de competitie kwalificeert zich voor de Copa Libertadores Sub-20, het Zuid-Amerikaanse equivalent van de UEFA Youth League.

De Série A Sub-20 bestaat uit 20 teams, waaronder de onder-20-teams van enkele van de meest prestigieuze clubs van Brazilië, zoals Flamengo, Internacional en São Paulo. De competitie staat bekend om zijn hoge technische en tactische niveau, en heeft in de loop der jaren veel getalenteerde spelers voortgebracht die doorgroeiden naar de nationale ploeg van Brazilië.
