Wikipedia - Isthmian Football League

De Isthmian Football League is een Engelse regionale voetbalcompetitie voor clubs uit Londen, East of England en South East England.

Het werd in 1905 opgericht door amateurclubs in de omgeving van Londen. De competitie bestaat sinds 2018 uit 82 teams in vier divisies; de Premier Division (niveau 7) en drie feederdivisies, Division One South Central, Division One North en Division One South East (alle drie niveau 8).

Engeland - Isthmian Premier Division

De Isthmian Premier Division is een Engelse voetbalcompetitie voor semi-professionele clubs. Het is het hoogste niveau van de Isthmian League en bevindt zich op het zevende niveau van het Engelse voetbalpiramide-systeem. De divisie werd opgericht in 2004 en verving de Isthmian League Premier Division.

De competitie bestaat uit 22 clubs die gedurende een seizoen van augustus tot april twee keer tegen elkaar spelen. De kampioen promoveert naar de National League South, terwijl de onderste twee clubs degraderen naar de Isthmian League Division One North of South.
