División de Plata de Balonmano, is the second level handball league in Spain. It was founded in 1994 and is managed by RFEBM. From 1994 until 2008–09 season, this competition was known as División de Honor B. From 2009–10 season onwards, it's officially known as División de Plata.
The División de Plata, which is played under EHF rules, currently consists of 16 teams, including ones like Academia Octavio, Calmec Barakaldo, Alcobendas, and Pozoblanco.
Spanje - Div. Honor Plata
De Spaanse Div. Honor Plata is het tweede niveau van professioneel handbal in Spanje. De competitie bestaat uit 16 teams die in een reguliere competitie tegen elkaar spelen. De bovenste twee teams promoveren naar de Liga Asobal, terwijl de onderste twee teams degraderen naar de Primera Nacional.
De Div. Honor Plata is een competitieve competitie waarin enkele van de beste handbalteams van Spanje spelen. De competitie staat bekend om zijn snelle tempo en hoge scoringsgemiddelde. Een aantal van de beste spelers van Spanje hebben in de Div. Honor Plata gespeeld, waaronder Julen Aginagalde, Albert Rocas en Victor Tomás.
De huidige kampioen van de Div. Honor Plata is BM Benidorm.
